Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all

Parent and play sessions

On the following dates we will be having parent stay and play sessions where parents are welcome to come and play alongside their child and have the opportunity to talk to their child’s key person and find out how their child is progressing through the early years foundation stage.

Unfortunately siblings are not allowed because of ratios and insurance.

EYFS Activities for this Term

Week 1- 4^thJanuary

·         Polar pear bingo

·          flour snow pictures

·         The role play will be the Antarctic

Week 2- 9^thJanuary

·         Ice mountain

·         Talk about cold countries

·         Show and tell a chance for children to bring in their new toys to show us a box will be placed outside for the toys to go in

Week 3- 16^thJanuary

·         Chinese writing

·         Dancing with ribbons, streaming

Week 4- 23^rdJanuary

·         Talking about Chinese new year and trying Chinese foods

·         Older children practise writing their names on paper, in flour, sand

Week 5- 30^thJanuary

·         Sorting objects

·         Bee-bot remote

Week 6- 6^thFebruary

·         Making valentine chocolates and boxes

·         Learning the importance of hand washing

If any parents have anything they feel would help us with our activities please see a member of staff also if you would like to come and help

Weather:

Please remember to send wellies, hats, gloves, scarves with your child every day. Please listen to the local radio KLFM in the event we have to shut should we get bad weather.
